Rita Ekpeyong

A passionate teacher and seasoned educationist with over fifteen years’ experience in the teaching profession, Rita Ekpenyong is a strong believer in the ability of every child to succeed and an ardent advocate of the need for teachers to act as agents of change in their world.

As the Director of Studies in Meadow Hall, she has positively influenced the growth and development of the school.

Rita started off her career in the media world before moving on to education. She is particularly concerned about the need for excellent subject delivery by teachers and the importance of applying creative methods in achieving teaching aims and objectives.

To this end, she has facilitated at different seminars on Creative Writing, Lesson Planning/Delivery and Transitional Examinations amongst others.

She is currently running a postgraduate management course at Albion College, UK and has attended a number of professional development courses on teaching and leadership both in the U.K. and U.S.A.
