Head of School
Olayinka Obafisoye, the Head of School at Meadow Hall, is an education enthusiast and practitioner with well over 20 years of teaching and leading experience. Her career is borne out of a passion to be an effective instrument of positive change in the education sector.

A strategic visionary, she provides quality academic leadership which was instrumental to the school's seamless digital transition during the pandemic as well as successfully co-leading the school to being the first in Africa to achieve the COBIS (Council of British International Schools) Patron Accredited membership.

Her 21st-century leadership drive and style continue to enable her to deliver Meadow Hall’s vision in line with core organisational values, as well giving voice to the hitherto voiceless.

A gifted communicator, she is the spokesperson of Meadow Hall Education interfacing effectively with both internal and external constituencies fostering mutual benefit and continuous collaboration.

A champion of ECM (Every Child Matters), Olayinka was the first Instructor/franchisee in the East London area of Stratford for Kumon UK, and the Literacy Co-ordinator in a leading Catholic school in the UK.
She is particularly grateful for her legacy as the first Year 4 teacher at Meadow Hall, at its inception.

She is a graduate of the University of Ibadan {B Ed.} and holds a Master’s degree in International Law and Diplomacy from the University of Lagos. She also holds a Post Graduate Degree from Middlesex University, London, obtained her Qualified Teacher Status {QTS} from the National College of Teaching and Leadership, England and a Master’s degree in Applied Education Leadership and Management from the University College of London.

She is a certified John Maxwell Coach and is happily married with two sons.
