Because she believes in excellence and does not rest on her oars, she has undergone (and keeps undergoing) many Professional Development Courses both locally and internationally, one of which is The Management of Behaviour at The University of Cambridge. Recently, she also attended a workshop on Raising Teaching Standards in the Delivery of Core Subjects at Broadfields School, Edgware, London.
Her teaching career began fifteen years ago. She has taught at various schools including The Rock Montessori School, Corona Schools and Lekki British International School.
In the course of her teaching experience, she has been opportuned to work with children in the nursery and primary sections. She has also worked extensively with children both in KS1 and KS2 respectively.
Oluwatoyin Awe-Joseph, who is a strong believer in home-school relationship as a key factor in bringing out the best in our children, joined Meadow Hall ten years ago. Presently, she is the Director of Studies at Meadow Hall Ikoyi.
She is happily married with two children- a girl and a boy.
