Meadow Hall App

The Meadow Hall App is out now! It is a centralized location where you can view all Meadow Hall correspondence. You can now receive real-time news updates on all things Meadow Hall, as well being able to sign up your child for extra-curricular activities, view their results, set reminders for their specific events and so much more!

It is extremely easy to use and having all this information at your fingertips will only make your life easier!

Please follow the instructions below to install the app.

First download Meadow Hall News App to your device.

You can find it in the App Store for iOS and in Google Play for Android.

Only verified users are able to access the information within the Meadow Hall app. When you open the app, the first screen will ask you to register.

Registration is a simple process for parents that allows us as a school to ensure we are sending the right information to the right parents.

The next steps below will guide you through a step-by-step registration process. After the registration, you will find an explanation of the app itself.

To register, all you need to do is click on the REGISTER button on this first screen.

You will need to authenticate with either the mobile or email contact details we hold for you on the school system.

We recommend registering using your mobile number rather than email as this means you do not have to leave the app in order to get your security code. Though you can also register using your email address, this will mean you’ll need to leave the app in order to retrieve your 6-digit code. Select which method of authentication you wish to use and click NEXT.

Now enter your mobile phone number and click NEXT again.

As long as the mobile number or email address you have entered matches the one we have on the school system you will now receive an email (you may need to check your Junk Folder if this does appear straight away in your Inbox) or text message with a 6-digit code. Enter this code into the app and click NEXT.

If you are using an Apple iOS device and registering by mobile number then you can just tap the 6 digit code displayed at the top of your number pad and the phone will automatically populate the numbers – alternatively, you can enter these manually and click NEXT.

On the left, you can see the navigation bar, which shows you all the features the app offers. You can access this by clicking on the 3 lines next to “Home” on your home screen.

Here below, you will find details of each of the features.

Notices, updates, blogs, and other useful information are curated in one place in a format that is simple and looks great on your mobile device.

Push notifications reach you as quickly as a text. You will only receive information that is relevant to you and to the ages of your children.

You can easily navigate through your UNREAD, FAVOURITES and REMOVED folders.

By swiping left you can tap the little heart and add a notification to your favourites.

Once you have added it, you will find it easily under your favourites folder.

If you swipe left on a notification you can also choose to share it by tapping on the curved arrow. This will allow you to send it to any of your contacts.

You also have the option to remove this notification. It will then appear in your ‘REMOVED’ folder.

If you wish to retrieve any notification you may have removed, then you need to tap the three dots at the bottom right of your screen and then press ‘Retrieve all items’.

Our calendar is easily accessible and automatically updated. You can also quickly add events to the personal calendar on your phone or tablet in just one step.

The calendar is colour coded, each colour highlights which section the event is for.

Here we share all additional information that include our COVID-19 measures, our social media platforms, our term dates, the different platforms we provide for our students, our alumni platform and our app user guide.

The forms provided under this section are for you to inform the school about any change of contact information, as well as for you to provide feedback about the app.

You can find every Meadow Hall email or phone number you may need in your contacts list, as well as the school’s address, phone number, email, website and map.

Of note, the information remains at school-level at this stage.
