English Vision 2021:
Our vision is to ensure the British and Nigerian national curricula are finely blended in order to facilitate, and encourage learners to develop lifelong practical language and communication skills through a functional blend of both the IGCSE and WAEC English and Literature, bearing in mind that the students’ level of literacy will impact on their performance in other subject areas.
Writing Vision 2021:
Our students should be able to write extensive pieces of writing for specific audiences and purposes. They should be able to use structure, vocabulary and punctuation to create intended effects in a range of forms, including both creative and transactional texts (letters, marketing text and so on).
Reading Vision 2021:
-To develop the skills to effectively leverage on text-based literacy as the basis for developing and enhancing the students’ overall language competence.
-To encourage the habit of reading for pleasure as a means of self-development.
Mission 2021:
Developing and delivering teaching and learning that equip students with the requisite functional language skills to enable them to function optionally in society.
